Ford responds to Katrina

DEARBORN, Sept. 2, 2005 - Hurricane Katrina is being described as the worst national disaster since the San Francisco earthquake in 1906. Ford Motor Company is mounting a multi-faceted response to aid employees and others affected by the disaster. "We are looking at ways to use every possible resource to reach out to our Ford family as well as the countless others who have been left homeless in the wake of Hurricane Katrina," said Jim Bright, executive director, Ford Volunteer Corps.
